Free tickets to major events

Children and young people told us they want more things to do, more places to go and more access to affordable activities.

Since the launch of Evry, partners responsible for major events in Newcastle have offered thousands of free tickets to children and young people across the city.

In 23/24 over 2,500 free tickets, worth up to £50,000, have been distributed to Theatre Royal shows, Newcastle United Women and Men matches, Magic Weekend, Newcastle Pride, music events in Urban Green parks, and Northern Lights at Leazes Park.

We have never been to a pantomime or visited the theatre and we probably never would have done had we not been given this opportunity. It has ignited the girls to want to visit theatres to see other shows
